Advanced Cardiac Surgery with Japanese Expertise
Ship International Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh opened in June 2022. In March 2023, the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery was launched and started cardiac surgeries, and in November 2023, the Aortic Surgery Center was also opened. Cardiac surgery in Bangladesh started in September 1981 when a Japanese cardiac surgeon taught surgery at NICVD with the support of JICA. One of the Japanese cardiovascular surgeons at that time was my mentor. That may have been the beginning of my connection with Bangladesh. Recently, many patients with cardiac, vascular, and AV fistulas have been coming to our hospital from near and far. In addition to the usual CABG, valvular disease, and congenital heart disease, the cardiovascular surgery department is particularly focused on aortic aneurysm and dissection surgery (thoracic and abdominal) and vascular surgery, which has been done few in Bangladesh before and has been well received by our patients. Our hospital is a Japanese-style hospital not only in terms of medical care but also in terms of hospitality. Therefore, we have introduced Japanese systems and equipment to provide the same treatment as in Japan. We provide the best surgery for each patient with the expertise of the best cardiac surgeon in Bangladesh. If you have any concerns or problems with your heart, please come to our hospital. Our team will be sure to help you and guarantee you quality surgery and treatment. Please contact us anytime. We look forward to welcoming you to our hospital.Conditions We Treat
