Depending on the patient’s financial situation, we can provide different accommodation option such as single cabin, shared cabin, wards and VIP cabin service. Each cabin has oxygen support, wifi connection, air conditioner, cupboard, bedside side locker, hot water supply, etc facility.
We provide 3 types of dialysis facilities. OPD-based dialysis, emergency dialysis and dialysis for hepatitis patients. In dialysis, approximately 120 to 150 L of dialysate is used for one dialysis session. Therefore, the dialysate must be clean. For this reason, water passes through many filters and devices to remove impurities and bacteria to create clean water. To ensure the quality of dialysate, we regularly conduct water quality tests for both bacteria and endotoxins under the supervision of a Japanese Clinical Engineer and conduct overall hygiene and quality control. Since one dialysis session takes hours, we pay much attention to keeping the environment comfortable for patients.
Endoscopy includes upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, which involves inserting an endoscope through the mouth to examine the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, etc., and colonoscopy, which involves inserting an endoscope through the anus to examine the rectum and large intestine. Endoscopy is a procedure performed for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. We perform the procedure with sedation (painless) or without sedation based on the patient’s preference and condition. Our facility boasts advanced optics and visualization systems in our endoscopy suites, facilitating rapid and accurate examinations of the entire digestive tract and nearby structures. Also, used endoscopes are cleaned, disinfected, and dried following international standards to prevent infections.
We have 12 operation theatres. Among them, 3 are modular OT and the other 9 OTs are general OT. Modular OTs are used for Cardiovascular Surgery and general OTs are used for General surgery, Gynaecology & obstetrics, Orthopedic surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology department. We maintain an appropriate OT environment, such as temperature, air cleanliness, etc., for our patients. Each OT is equipped with a HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter which helps in maintaining clean air inside the OT to prevent infection. Also, special deep cleaning is performed periodically to prevent surgery-related infection.
Our critical care area encompasses a range of specialized units including the CICU, CCU, ICU, NICU and HDU. All critical care units are equipped with life support equipment and medications. Critical care units are also distinguished from general wards or cabins by a higher staff-to-patient ratio for caring for critical patients.
Cath Lab is a specialized area in the hospital where minimally invasive tests and advanced cardiac procedures are performed using a long tube (catheter) to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. Our Cath Lab machine excels in performance, delivering high-quality images that facilitate the ease of performing routine and complex cardiac intervention procedures, balloon angioplasty, stenting, pacemaker implantation, etc. Our Cath Lab is the only one in Bangladesh equipped with a HEPA filter.
CT (Computed Tomography) scan is a non invasive imaging test that uses X-rays and computer technology to create cross-sectional images of the body. CT scans are more detailed than general X-rays, showing detailed images of any body part, including the bones, muscles, fat, and organs. CT scans can be performed on every region of the body for a variety of reasons (e.g., diagnostic, treatment planning, interventional, or screening). We have a GE Revolution EVO 64-slice CT Scanner.
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a painless imaging test that utilizes magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the organs and structures inside the body without invasive procedures. Our facility is equipped with a GE Signa Explorer 1.5 Tesla MRI Scanner, capable of imaging various organs and tissues including the brain, chest and abdominal organs (heart, liver, kidneys, etc.), breast tissue, spine, pelvic organs (bladder, reproductive organs), blood vessels, and lymph nodes, among others. Unlike CT-Scan, MRI doesn’t use X-rays.
The Eco ray 1000mA High Frequency X-ray Machine is equipped with advanced features including a full collimation system to minimize radiation exposure for patients. It offers clear image quality and enables various general X-ray procedures, with a DR system that reduces waiting times while maintaining image clarity. Additionally, it can perform contrast X-ray procedures such as IVU, RGU, MCU, and others, aiding in accurate diagnosis for patients.
Mammography is an X-ray imaging method used to examine the breast for the early detection of cancer and other breast diseases. We have Siemens MAMMOMAT Inspiration Prime, a mammography machine tailored for breast cancer screening in women, prioritizing low radiation dose and high-quality imaging with wide-angle tomosynthesis technology. During a mammogram, a patient’s breast is placed on a flat support plate and compressed with a parallel plate. Although Mammography can detect abnormality in the breast, it cannot prove that an abnormal area is cancer, but if it raises a significant suspicion of cancer, the tissue will be removed for a biopsy.
A colposcopy enables your physician to conduct a thorough examination of your vagina and cervix. Our skilled Gynaecologist utilizes cutting-edge colposcopy equipment resembling a pair of binoculars with an intense light source. This advanced technology provides the doctor with a highly magnified view of the vaginal and cervical surfaces. Should any suspicious areas be identified, the doctor can extract a small tissue sample for further analysis through biopsy. The colposcopy machine efficiently detects regions necessitating biopsy and presents real-time images for continual assessment during the procedure.
