About Dr. Kazi Nusrat Sharmin

Dr. Kazi Nusrat Sharmin completed her MBBS in 2011 from Chittagong Medical College & Hospital and earned her MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in 2020. She completed an advanced Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery in 2026, as well as specialized international training in Percutaneous and Non-Fluoroscopic (PAN) procedures at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) & Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) in Beijing, China. She has extensive experience in managing congenital and acquired heart conditions, having previously served as an Assistant Registrar and MS Resident at NICVD. Currently, Dr. Kazi Nusrat Sharmin serves as an Associate Consultant at SHIP International Hospital. She is highly skilled in open and closed heart procedures for pediatric patients, including ASD, VSD, PDA, and TAPVC repairs, as well as complex TOF corrections. Her expertise ensures patient-centered, evidence-based care to improve surgical outcomes for pediatric patients.
