Prof Dr. N.A. Kamrul Ahsan completed his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College. He obtained his MS from the University of Dhaka.
After that, he achieved FACS from the American College of Surgeons.
He was trained in Cardiac Surgery-USA (NY Medical College, Westchester County Hospital), Germany (Düsseldrof University).
Prof Dr. N.A Kamrul Ahsan currently working at SHIP International Hospital as Chief Consultant, in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department.
Before that, he worked in many reputed institutions in different positions such as NICVD, Mymensingh Medical College & Hospital and so on.
He is actively participating to his full capacity in Heart Bypass (CABG) surgery, aortic and mitral valve surgery, congenital heart surgery, (TOF, ASD, VSD and PDA), adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, open heart surgery, vascular surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, congenital valve repair and complex cardiac surgery.
