To ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and staff, we request all visitors and attendants to follow these guidelines during their stay at SHIP International Hospital.

Visiting Hours
We have restricted visiting times to ensure patients get adequate rest. Please adhere to the schedule below based on the patient's location.
General Ward & Cabin
Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Evening: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Critical Care Area
Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Evening: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
CICU Area
Morning: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Evening: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Visitor Instructions
Health & Safety
Refrain from visiting if you feel unwell. Wear a mask if visiting a patient with infectious diseases. Sanitize hands frequently.
ID Card Collection Location
Visitor ID must be collected from the Information Desk at the entrance.
Number of Visitors
2 Visitors’ IDs allocated per patient. Only 1 visitor at a time for Critical Care. Children under 10 are not allowed.Exception allowed only with treating consultant’s approval.
Visitor Exit Guidelines
Return your visitor card, collect any refundable deposit, and ensure all personal belongings are taken.
Quiet Environment Standards
Keep noise low, maintain cleanliness, use bins properly, and respect hospital property at all times.
Privacy & Confidentiality Rules
Avoid asking personal health questions. Respect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Mobile & Privacy Policy
Keep phones on silent or vibration mode. No photography or recording without prior permission.
Gifts & Food
Please refrain from bringing flowers, outside food, or gifts due to infection control and dietary restrictions.
Staff Instructions
Always follow the instructions of hospital staff. They are here to ensure safety. Please cooperate with them.

Attendant Responsibilities
For admitted patients, one attendant must be available at all times. They play a crucial role in the care plan.
Role & Access
- Only 1 attendant ID issued at admission.
- Must be present for doctor rounds.
- Doctor shares treatment plan with attendant.
- Can stay in Cabin with patient.
- Must stay in waiting lobby elsewhere.
- 100 BDT deposit refundable at discharge.
- Attendant accommodation system available (via Customer Care).
- Return ID at discharge required.
