For Visitors

When visiting our hospital, either as a visitor or an attendant, it is essential to follow our certain guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and other visitors. The following general instructions are applicable:

Visiting Hours

Before visiting, please kindly confirm our visiting hours. We have restricted visiting times.

Visiting hours are as follows:

AreaTime

General ward and Cabin

  • Afternoon time: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
  • Evening time: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Critical Care Area

  • Afternoon time: 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
  • Evening time: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

CICU Area

  • Morning Time 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Evening Time 4:00 pm-to 7:00 pm

Visitor Instructions:

Health and Safety Precautions:
  • If you feel unwell, suffering from any infectious diseases please kindly refrain from visiting patients, because it can be spread to patients also.
  • Please wear a mask if you are planning to visit a patient who is suffering from infectious disease.
  • Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands frequently to maintain hygiene.
Identification and Check-In:
  • Please collect your visitor ID card from the information desk at the entrance of the hospital.
  • We will charge 100 BDT for each card and at the end of the visit after returning the visitor ID card we will refund the money.
  • You might be required to wear a visitor’s ID card within the hospital.
Respect Patient Privacy and Hospital Environment:
  • Be mindful of patients’ privacy and confidentiality; avoid asking personal health questions.
  • Keep noise to a minimum to maintain a calm environment.
  • Respect hospital property and cleanliness. Use trash bins for any litter.
Number of Visitors:
  • At a time 2 Visitors’ IDs will be allocated to you during the time of visit. For the critical care unit, at a time one visitor is allowed.
  • A visitor’s card can be used to visit patients during normal visiting times.
  • Children below 10 years are not allowed in the hospital as a visitor. In special cases, only the treating consultant can provide permission.
Gifts and Food:
  • Please kindly refrain from bringing gifts, flowers, or food to patients.
  • These are restricted due to allergy concerns or to maintain patient’s proper diets.
Electronics and Mobile Devices:
  • Please kindly use your mobile phone or electronic devices carefully and try to make them on silent mode or vibration mode.
  • Avoid photography or recording without prior permission for privacy reasons.
Attendant Responsibilities:
  • For admitted patients, 1 attendant/ family member must be available inside hospital premises in person at all times.
  • Maximum 1 attendant’s ID card will be provided at the time of admission and we will charge 100 BDT for that and during discharge of the patient we will return back.
  • Attendant is responsible for the patient and the doctor will share all the treatment plans and give some instructions based on the treatment plan.
  • Attendants need to be present during doctor’s rounds or important discussions if possible.
  • Attendant’s ID card will allow you to stay with patients if admitted to Cabin other area attendants can stay in the waiting lobby.
  • During the release of the patient, you must return the cards and if lost, you must pay 200 Tk. for each card.
  • We have an attendant accommodation system detailed information can receive from Customer Care.
Respect Staff Instructions:
  • Please always kindly follow the instructions of hospital staff. They are here to ensure the safety and well being of your patient. Please kindly support and cooperate with them.
Leaving the Hospital:
  • Return the visitor card to the information desk before leaving the hospital and collect your 100 BDT.
  • Ensure you have all your belongings and leave the hospital premises.
