She completed her MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and earned her MD in Pathology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Before joining SHIP International Hospital, she served as an Associate Professor and Head at various private healthcare institutions. Her professional expertise includes Histopathology, Cytopathology, Clinical Pathology, and Molecular Pathology, demonstrating remarkable proficiency in these specialized fields. Prof. Dr. Nasima Akter is an active contributor to research in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She is an expert in USG and CT-guided FNAC and Core Biopsy and has received specialized training in Cytopathology, Histopathology, and Molecular Pathology from renowned institutions in Delhi and Bangalore, India.
