    • Prof. Dr. Kazuyuki Ishibashi passed his MD degree in 1991 and obtained PhD in Cardiovascular Surgery in 1995 from Iwate Medical University School of Medicine, Japan. 
    • He trained at St. Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College London in 2002.
    • He is certified as a Proctor surgeon of implantable Left Ventricular Assist Devices and supervising surgeons (Thoracic and Abdominal Aorta) Japanese Committee for Stent-graft Management.
    • He is a certified Senior Member of the Japanese Society of Surgery and the Japanese Society of Cardiovascular Surgery.
    • He works as Hospital Director  & Chief Consultant in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department at SHIP International Hospital.
    • Before that, Prof. Dr. Kazuyuki Ishibashi was a Senior Lecturer at Akita University and Toho University and a Visiting Professor at Kitasato University. 
    • He is renowned for his expertise in managing different kinds of complex surgical procedures over the past 30 years such as CABG (off-pump and on-pump), Valve Repair and Replacement, Repair and Replacement (Thoracic and Abdominal), Aortic Stent Grafting (TAA & AAA).
    • Prof. Dr. Kazuyuki Ishibashi has also expertise in operating total arch replacement, aortic stent grafts, and all types of cardiovascular surgeries including congenital heart disease and implantable left ventricular assist devices.
