Dr. Tariq Husain is a Consultant in Internal Medicine with extensive clinical experience in managing a wide spectrum of medical conditions, including acute, chronic, endocrine, and metabolic disorders. He obtained his MBBS degree from Jalalabad Ragib Rabeya Medical College, Sylhet, under Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), and holds postgraduate qualifications including FCPS (Medicine), MRCP (UK), and FRCP (Edinburgh). He has undergone extensive training in acute medicine, endocrinology, metabolic disorders, and emergency care, enhancing his multidisciplinary clinical approach.
Currently working as a Consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine at SHIP International Hospital. Previously, he served as a Consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine at Star Line Specialized Hospital, Feni, and as a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Evercare Hospital, Dhaka, and as Consultant & Head of Emergency at Central Police Hospital, Rajarbag. He is actively involved in postgraduate medical education, including teaching MRCP & FCPS candidates and coordinating PACES examinations in Bangladesh.
Dr. Husain provides comprehensive care for diabetes and endocrine disorders, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), hypertension, infectious diseases, rheumatology, and critical care in medical ICU settings, with a strong focus on accurate diagnosis, effective management, and structured follow-up.
