Dr. Tarana Tabashum currently serves as a Senior Consultant of the Laboratory Medicine Department at SHIP International Hospital. Her educational journey commenced with the attainment of an MBBS degree from Rangpur Medical College, followed by the successful completion of her MD degree at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
She is done with her postgraduate course on Pathology from BSMMU
Before joining SHIP International Hospital, Dr.Tarana Tabashum devoted her expertise to working in many reputed institutions in different positions.
She is an active contributor to the field of Laboratory Medicine. She is an expert in USG and CT-guided FNAC. Special interest in core Needle Biopsy of Breast and other Organs.
She has also expertise in molecular pathology like IHC(Immunohistochemistry) and FISH (Fluorescence in situ hybridization).
She has many national and international publications.
