Dr. Muhammad Shoyab is currently serving as Consultant in the Department of Radiology & Imaging at SHIP International Hospital. He completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, and then underwent postgraduate training at Dhaka Medical College Hospital & BSMMU to complete MCPS & FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS).
Prior to joining SHIP International Hospital in March 2020, Dr. Shoyab served as Jr Consultant, Consultant & Asst. Professor in several private medical colleges & corporate-style hospitals of Bangladesh. He brings to us his wide-range experience of handling the more sophisticated imaging modalities, e.g. 64 & 256-slice CT, 1.5 & 3 Tesla MRI, as well as cancer and cardiac imaging.
Dr. Shoyab is passionate for a department of reference excellence, embracing the concept of next-generation radiology via filmless, paperless, cloud & Al-assisted systems. He has received specialized training in cardiac, neuro & musculoskeletal imaging from Bangladesh Society of Radiology & Imaging.
On the academic side, he has published 8 papers in international journals (three indexed in PubMed), and presented posters & abstracts at several international seminars. He is also an accredited CPD Provider enlisted on The CPD Register (UK), and Associate Editor for a PubMed- indexed medical journal (USA).
