Shariful Islam graduated with an MBBS from Khulna Medical College and earned an MS in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CT & VS) from the National University of Cardio Vascular Diseases. With nearly 13 years of experience, he has worked in various reputed hospitals in multiple roles, gaining extensive expertise in cardiovascular surgery. Currently, Dr. A.S.M. Shariful Islam serves as a Consultant in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department at SHIP International Hospital. He actively participates in bypass grafting surgery (CABG), aortic and mitral valve surgeries including replacement and repair, as well as congenital heart surgeries such as ASD, VSD, and PDA repair. He regularly performs these procedures with precision and has attended numerous workshops on advanced cardiac surgery, including valve repair and aortic surgeries. His clinical expertise and commitment ensure high-quality care for patients requiring complex cardiac surgical interventions.
