Dr. Mohammad Moniruzzaman completed his MBBS in 2001 from Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital under the University of Dhaka and earned his MS in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute under the University of Dhaka in 2010. He has extensive experience as a cardiac surgeon, having worked as a Cardiac Surgeon and Assistant Professor at the National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute and various private institutions. Currently, Dr. Mohammad Moniruzzaman serves as Senior Consultant in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department at SHIP International Hospital. He actively participates in all types of open and closed heart surgeries, including beating heart (off-pump) CABG, on-pump CABG, valve replacement, and repair of congenital heart defects, as well as various closed heart procedures such as PDA correction. He is also skilled in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICs), aortic surgeries, valve repair, and complex congenital cardiac defect correction surgeries. His expertise ensures comprehensive cardiac care for both adult and pediatric patients, delivering high-quality surgical outcomes.
