After completing MBBS, Dr. Zaman Ummay Humayra obtained her fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery from Tokyo Women’s Medical University, Japan.
Later, she completed an FCPS degree in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2016.
She is a life member of ASOMA (Asian Society of Mastology), ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons), Society of Surgeons of Bangladesh (SOSB), Society of Plastic Surgeons of Bangladesh (SPSB), and Society of Hand Surgeons.
She has more than 20 years of work experience in different surgical disciplines including general surgery, hepatobiliary & pancreatic surgery & surgical emergency. Currently, she is working as a Guest Senior Consultant at SHIP International Hospital.
Dr. Zaman Ummay Humayra provides comprehensive care for all breast diseases, including breast cancer and the oncoplastic approach.
She is highly experienced in managing complex wounds such as bedsores in paralytic patients, post-trauma, burns, cancer, reconstructive surgery of congenital malformations (eg cleft lip, double toe, nose-ear, or other congenital body defects), and microsurgery procedures.
She successfully provides PRP and hair transplant services for baldness/hair loss patients.
Also, she performs a variety of body contouring procedures, and breast conservative surgery (breast implants or reduction) including liposuction and abdominoplasty.
She has published many papers in different national & international journals. She has been serving as an editorial board member in multiple national journals.
