Dr. S M Nafeez Imtiaz graduated from Chittagong Medical College in 2011. He passed his MD courses in Nephrology at the National Institute of Kidney Diseases & Urology, Dhaka, where he received extensive training in clinical nephrology, dialysis, and renal transplantation. During his training period, he also took sub-specialty training at BSMMU, NICVD, and NINS&H. He has attended many national and international conferences and is a member of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the Bangladesh Renal Association. He has a special interest in glomerular diseases and dialysis and has extensive experience in managing diabetic and other kidney diseases, high blood pressure, kidney failure, cystic kidney disease, kidney stones, nephrotic syndrome, end-stage renal disease, hemolytic uremic syndrome, urinary tract infections, kidney infections, hyponatremia and other electrolyte disorders, toxic overdoses requiring dialysis, and glomerulonephritis. He has independently performed numerous venous catheter insertions and renal biopsy procedures.
