Dr. Raisul Islam is a renowned General & Laparoscopic Surgeon. He completed his MBBS degree in 2013 from Dhaka University.
He earned his MS in General Surgery from Bagabandhu Sheikh Mujeeb Medical University (ex- PG hospital).
He has undergone training in General Surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, the country's first and most famous Medical University (BSMMU).
He received training in General and Laparoscopic Surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU), Dhaka Medical College, and Sir Salimulla Medical College.
He has obtained fellowship training in minimal invasive surgery from India. Recently, he has performed a variety of advanced laparoscopic surgeries.
During his career of 8 years, he worked in various organizations in different positions. He is working as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the International Medical College Hospital. Currently, he is working as a Guest Consultant in the department of General Surgery at SHIP International Hospital.
He is regularly performing all kinds of Laparoscopic Surgery & Conventional Surgery with a special interest in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. Appendectomy, Diagnostic Laparoscopy, Sleeve gastrectomy, Adrenalectomy, Colectomy, and Cholecystectomy, etc.
He has done different types of Hernia Surgery via Laparoscopic Approach, e.g., Inguinal, Femoral & Ventral Hernia Umbilical, Paraumbilical, Incisional & Epigastric, etc.
His areas of expertise include GI Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Breast, Hepatobiliary, and Pancreatic Surgery.
