Prof. Dr. Md. Ataul Hoque is specialized in pediatric cardiology
He graduated from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College & Hospital. After that, he joined the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & Hospital (NICVD), Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, and worked as Registrar, of Cardiology.
He obtained a Diploma in Child Health degree from Dhaka Medical College & Hospital.
He has long working experience in the National Institute of Cardiovascular & Hospital (NICVD) at the Department of Paediatric Cardiology.
He has completed a comprehensive course in Echocardiography from JROP Institute of
Echocardiography & Vascular Ultrasound, Delhi, India.
He obtained training in Paediatric Intervention Cardiology from NH-RN Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Science, India. Also, he had training in Paediatric Cardiology from Madras Medical Mission Hospital, India.
He can perform Congenital and Paediatric Echocardiography and also diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization.
He is an expert in the field of Interventional Paediatric Cardiology including device closure of congenital defects in the heart (ASD, VSD & PDA), Valvuloplasty (AS & PS) etc. He is also highly skilled in Color Doppler Echocardiography (TTE & TEE).
