Dr. Muntasir-Bin-Shahid obtained his MBBS on 2005 from Dhaka University. He passed MS (Master of Surgery) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2016.
He has also achieved his fellowship in Glaucoma from Disha Eye Hospital, India. He also received fellowship training in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery from Mahatme Eye Bank Hospital, Nagpur, India.
Currently, he is working as a consultant in the Ophthalmology Department of SHIP International Hospital.
He has also vast working experience in both public and private organizations in different positions.
Muntasir-Bin-Shahid is a highly skilled Phaco & Glaucoma Specialist. Not only did he specialize in Phaco-Glaucoma surgery, but he also has extensive experience in Ophthalmic Trauma and Cataract Surgery including regular eye tests, cyclo-refraction tests, low-vision tests, special stimulation therapy services (for Cerebral Palsy Patients), amblyopia (lazy eye), myopia treatment for children, contact lens & spectacles, diagnosing and treating eye diseases and injuries.
He has authored of many publications and worked as a Reviewer of the Scientific Committee of the World Ophthalmological Congress 2016.
He attends many conferences, symposiums, and seminars. He always tries to keep his knowledge up-to-date & deliver perfect service to his patients.
