Ship Aichi Medical Service Ltd

The company Ship Aichi Medical Service Ltd. an international joint venture company by Green Hospital Supply, Inc. (Japan) of Ship Healthcare Group of Japan, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and East West Medical College of Aichi Medical Group of Bangladesh. Ship Aichi Medical Service Ltd. was founded in 2016 with motive to establish Ship International Hospital, a 650-bed state-of-the-art private hospital. The Ship International Hospital is currently wholly owned by Ship Aichi Medical Service Ltd. Ship Aichi Medical Service Ltd. Aspires to provide Japanese standard treatment facility to the people of Bangladesh with the moto of “Promise to Serve”. The joint venture of Ship Aichi Medical Service Ltd. was found by the following groups.

About the Group

Ship Healthcare Holdings Inc

Ship Healthcare Holdings Inc. was incorporated on Oct. 1, 2009 since when it has branched into various segments of healthcare service and manufacture of healthcare equipment, some of the concerns within the group are also listed in Tokyo Stock Exchange. Apart from having a dominant footprint in Japan, the group has also had several investments all other the world. It operates through the different segments, such as- Total Pack Produce, Medical Supply, Life Care, Pharmacy, and Others. The Total Pack Produce segment offers consulting, sales, and leasing services related to medical equipment and institutions while the Medical Supply segment sells medical materials and supplies. Medical Supply Business deals with medical materials and consumable supplies to medical institutions, using several different sales methods besides the standard distribution routes. The Life Care segment provides private nursing home, meal, and rehabilitation support services and so on.

Green Hospital Supply

Green Hospital Inc. was formed on August 27th, 1992, and is listed in Tokyo Stock, it is ISO certified and is involved in providing medical services under the umbrella of Ship Healthcare Holdings Inc. in Japan and other countries. Green Hospital Inc. is representing over 50.10% of the shareholding in the joint venture.

Aichi Medical Group

Aichi Medical Group is a multispectral medical service providing organization headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. For over a decade Aichi Medical Group has designed and developed advanced medical centers in different health sectors including two medical college and hospitals. The founder of Aichi Medical Group Dr. Md. Moazzem Hossain started his medical education in Mymensingh Medical College. He completed PhD in Pediatric Surgery at Nagoya University School of Medicine, Nagoya, Japan in 1994. After returning from Japan, he established Aichi Hospital with the help of JBCS (Japan Bangladesh Co-operative Society), a volunteer Japanese organization to serve the poor and helpless people. Since then, he continuously remained involved in the medical sector and established several intuitions under his direct supervision. East-West Medical College & Hospital, Aichi Hospital Ltd, Update Dental College & Hospital, East-West Nursing College are few establishments which have been founded by direct supervision of Dr. Md. Moazzem Hossain.

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is a renowned organization which is advancing its activities around the pillars of a field-oriented approach, human security, and enhanced effectiveness, efficiency, and speed. On July 3, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed investment agreements with Ship Aichi Medical Service Limited with a long-term vision to improve the medical care standards of Bangladesh which is the first of its kind.
