Dr. Afroja Siddiqua is an Obstetrician & Gynecologist efficient in the management of all types of normal & complicated pregnancies, Painless normal delivery, and Infertility & Endoscopic surgery. She graduated from Rangpur Medical College that is one of the old, large & renowned medical colleges in Bangladesh. She achieved the FCPS from Bangladesh College Of Physicians & Surgeons. She took advance training in laparoscopic & Gynae Endoscopic surgery from Delhi, India. She has special training Gynae Oncology (Cervical Cancer, Ovarian & Endometrial cancer etc) & Infertility. She also trained on Ultrasonography (CMU, Dhaka).
She has conducted a good number of painless normal vaginal delivery by labor analgesia with anesthetist team of SFMMKPJSH. She encourages her patient regarding this. She also conduct assisted normal vaginal delivery (Forceps, ventouse) in complicated normal delivery cases to avoid unnecessary Caesarian Delivery. She has the expertise to manage various types of high-risk pregnancies like Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, High Blood Pressure, Eclampsia, Pre-Eclampsia, PIH, Thyroid Disorder & done complicated Caesarian Section, etc. She successfully treated infertile couples with prolonged history of subfertility & patient of recurrent pregnancy loss both open & laparoscopically. She performs cervical cancer screening, advice regarding vaccination for that, treats CIN & does colposcopy. She is performing all types of Gynecological operations regularly both open, laparoscopic & Hysteroscopically. A large number of simple & complicated hysterectomy, myomectomy & ovarian cystectomy are done by her laparoscopically with smooth recovery of the patient.
