Dr. A.T.M. Zulfiqur Rahman completed his MBBS degree from Rangpur Medical College in 1996.
He also completed his Diploma in Orthopaedics and Trauma from NITOR, Dhaka in 2004, and completed his MS in Orthopaedics and Trauma from NITOR, Dhaka in 2018.
Throughout his extensive career, he has worked in various positions at numerous reputable hospitals and institutions both domestically and abroad. Currently, he works as a chief consultant in the orthopedic surgery department at SHIP International Hospital.
He has received a Fellowship in joint replacement surgery and advanced arthroscopic Training from Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, India. He has also done AO Trauma Basic & advanced Training from India and Dubai, and AO Alliance Faculty Education Training and AOPEER faculty education training.
His point of interest is Knee surgery for ACL, PCL, and Meniscal injury through arthroscopically. Also interested in Hip and Knee joint replacement surgery with limb and pelvic bone fracture by ORIF, CRIF, and MIPO techniques.
Besides the musculoskeletal trauma, he has a lot of work in Osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis, Osteomyelitis, and bone and soft tissue tumors.
He has participated in many national and international conferences and workshops regarding the latest orthopedic procedures and treatment modalities.
He has a lot of publications in orthopedics and trauma.
